Road

So i was on the road this morning, as usual, i saw cars, drivers, passengers, traffic lights, signals, constructions and etc. I suddenly recalled a poem i used to read that said "a road is where the real masks being divulged". I can't help but agree with that aforesaid statement because some of the people around me, people i know are those who were courteous but not until they get into their cars.As soon as they're in their vehicles, yukky manners just automatically storm out.

In Rick Warren's best selling book:the purpose driven life fully described how life on earth is a test.Quoted R.W:"Character is both developed and revealed by tests and all of life is a test". Irrefutable fact says,as human we know, we can never be perfect. Christians, too, are human and the same theory goes with them. We have our weaknesses, we have our diehard habits. Sometimes we can change them easily, sometimes we just can't. Facing the slow drivers who consequently caused us to be late when the fault is actually in us who woke up late in the morning but we, tend to blame the others. Dealing with the long-term-red-signals,circumstantially,we forget the law, we forget who we are, we bother not the constabulary, we don't think of the consequences, we don't care about others, all we wanted is to reach our destinations, so we cut the line, so we break the red, we make it at last without any hitch, then we thought, "Awesome,im so damn lucky today, Thank God!" No,God is not smiling to you and say, "This child remember to thank me,i'm so glad" but He is sighing that you failed your test.

Maybe yes, we don't break the law, we patiently wait when we see reds, we see the others cut our line but we didn't do so. Yes, our car may look still on the outside,but inside,foul words,censure,yokelish body language,call on the carpet,etc...something you really don't wanna know.Each time we drive, we intentionally be angry with someone who passed us by only for 5 seconds in our whole life.For few seconds time, we blacken our record, we sin over and over again, we sadden our examiner(God),we let Him down.

Is it possible to drive without being mad?Is it possible to be calm instead of frantic when we're in a hurry?Is it okay to forgive the slow drivers? Is it easy to pass our test?I don't know, in fact, im not the real driver yet. Next year,after my birthday, i'll make sure i let cha know.
